*The -r flag should be used if a registration matrix was applied to at least one of multiple volumes being loaded up in Freeview. For instance, the headers are the same for all volumes, but one or more of the volumes were rotated and have not been resampled into the same space as the first volume specified in the Freeview command. By default, Freeview will display a volume in it's native coordinate space (no reslicing).
